Our league has a 7:00 start time with a 7:15 forfeit time, however, it is up to the opposing team if the games will be played or not after that time.  It so happened one night that one shooter was not present for her games, her teammates said they would like to wait for her to play instead of them rotating sub for the fourth player because she was on her way.  At approximately 8:00 it was time for her game/games and she was still not there....an additional 10 minutes was waited before the President of our league was called who then agreed that she was not there and would forfeit her games...the night went on and games were played....the girl showed up about 9:00, in time to play her final game, which we allowed her to do but did not have to, and the night was through.  After 2 weeks, there was a meeting for the banquet, at which point, the situation was brought up that our team should have let the girl play her games at the end of the matches?Huh?  So, because our team denied, they made us forfeit those two games we won from her.  What do you think?Huh?  Why do we have rules with start and forfeit times, if the President, Vice-President and Secretary of our league can change them and do whatever they want?  This situation lost our team 2nd Place standing and the Top Shooter.  Very disappointed Sad

Most forfeit times are for the whole team in general.  For our four man teams we need atleast 2 players to play the match.  But we will skip over someone whose on their way or shoot-out someone who needs to leave early, all the time.  That being said....the score was already written and unless cheating was involved theres no way to take wins away from someone who was there and ready to play.  The best you can do is have rules ready for the next time it happens.
